The ninja community

We rise together

Stronger gyms make a stronger sport. Every family that finds this sport makes it stronger for all of us. Ninja HQ exists to help gyms help each other.

The sport, by the numbers

Ninja is booming. Now it has a platform of its own.

We follow every public ninja competition calendar and results page we can find. In the last twelve months alone:

924competitions on the calendar
251gyms that hosted a competition
11,218athletes who competed
21countries with ranked athletes

Ninja HQ research, October 2026: public league calendars and results (19 active leagues, 65,865 competition entries in 12 months).

Why we're here

Built by people who love this sport

Ninja is the friendliest sport there is. Athletes cheer loudest for the person they are competing against. Gym owners lend each other obstacles. Anyone who tries it falls in love.

Ninja HQ was built by people who truly care about the growth and future of the sport. We are a family, and families argue sometimes, but at the end of the day we want what is best for our friends and colleagues.

Our job is to take the website, the registrations and the paperwork off your plate, so you can focus on what you do best: inviting the people in your community into this incredible revolution in athletics.

What we believe

  • Stronger gyms, a stronger sportA new ninja family anywhere is good for every gym everywhere.
  • We are stronger as a familyWe share what works, lend what we can and cheer for each other's athletes.
  • This sport belongs on the biggest stageNinja, obstacle racing, parkour and chase tag belong in the Olympic Games. Obstacle racing arrives at Los Angeles 2028 as part of modern pentathlon. The rest of us get there faster together.
Grow the sport

Gyms working together grow everyone

Millions of people watch ninja on TV. Far fewer know that kids and adults compete every weekend in the World Ninja League, FINA, NSC, UNAA and dozens of regional series. Every gym that welcomes a new family brings that world closer to everyone.

Shared competition weekends

When NYX Training Center in Woodstock hosted WNL qualifiers on Saturday, October 3 and NinjaFit hosted on Sunday, athletes could compete three times in one trip. Two gyms, one weekend, more athletes for both.

Recruited like any athlete

Ninja athletes train with the dedication of any elite athlete. They deserve college recruiting and scholarships too, and that begins with results, rankings and visibility that coaches can find.

On the world stage

Obstacle racing joins the modern pentathlon at the LA 2028 Olympic Games. A connected, visible ninja community is how the sport earns its own place next.

How it works

Six ways gyms lift each other up

Every gym on Ninja HQ has a Community page in its back office. This is what it is for.

Invite a gym

Each gym has its own link. When a gym you introduce has been on Ninja HQ for 60 days, you each get one month free, and we thank everyone who helped make the introduction.

Gear board

Outgrew a warped wall? Looking for cliffhanger ledges? Gyms post obstacles and equipment to sell, lend or give to another gym.

Athlete spotlights

Gyms celebrate the athletes who inspire them. A story is published only with the athlete's permission, or a parent's for anyone under 18.

Adaptive ninja

Gyms say when they offer adaptive classes or welcome adaptive athletes, so families who are looking can find them.

Scholarships

Gyms offer scholarship spots in classes and competitions, so cost never keeps a kid off the course.

Gift it forward Coming next

A gym can give its thank-you month to the Ninja Community Fund instead of keeping it.

From the community

What gyms are sharing

Straight from the gyms on Ninja HQ that chose to share with the whole sport. Reach a gym through its own site.

The Ninja Community Fund

Some athletes love this sport more than anything else in their lives, and could use a hand: a first obstacle at home, the trip to a championship, help through a hard season. We want every competition registration to carry an optional way to chip in a dollar or two, with every cent passed on and a running total everyone can see.

We are setting the fund up with a registered nonprofit so that every dollar is handled properly. Nothing is collected until that is in place.
