A Jackrabbit alternative built for ninja gyms
Jackrabbit Class is long-running class software for gymnastics, dance, swim and cheer, with automatic tuition billing and a parent portal. Ninja gyms also run lots of birthday parties and camps, host league competitions and need a website that brings in families. Here is how the two compare, including where Jackrabbit is still ahead.
Choose Ninja HQ if parties, camps, competitions and your website matter as much as weekly classes, and you want them in one place. Stay with Jackrabbit for now if your gym runs on make-up classes, parent-reported absences and skill tracking, or if a low price for a small student count matters most: Ninja HQ doesn't have those features yet.

Moving over? Jackrabbit can export your families, students, classes and transactions to Excel when you cancel; ask them before you close, because the data is deleted once the account closes. We import your families from that spreadsheet and redirect every page of your old website. Saved cards stay with Jackrabbit Pay, so we plan with you how families add theirs.
Switching from Jackrabbit
Is there a Jackrabbit alternative for ninja gyms?
Yes. Ninja HQ is built only for ninja gyms and leagues. It covers class enrollment, waitlists, trials, monthly tuition, waivers, a store and the front desk, and adds online party booking, camps by the day, league competitions, your website and local search tools.
Is Ninja HQ cheaper than Jackrabbit?
For a small program, usually not: Jackrabbit starts at $49 a month by student count on its November 2026 pricing page. Ninja HQ is $399 a month at the introductory rate plus a one-time $999 implementation, the same however many students you have, with your website, party booking, competitions and growth tools included. Compare what you pay today for Jackrabbit plus your website, party booking, waivers and other tools.
Can I move my gym from Jackrabbit to Ninja HQ?
Yes. Ask Jackrabbit for the Excel export of your families, students, classes and transactions before you cancel, because Jackrabbit deletes the data when the account closes. We import your families, build a free preview of your new site and redirect your old pages when you go live. Saved cards stay with Jackrabbit Pay, so we plan with you how families add a card on Ninja HQ.
Does Ninja HQ have make-ups and skill tracking like Jackrabbit?
Not yet. Today you can cancel a single class date, run free trials and waitlists and keep notes on each family, but there are no make-up classes, parent-reported absences or skill tracking. If your gym depends on them, Jackrabbit covers them today.
Does Ninja HQ work with NinjaWorks and Ninja Master?
Yes. Ninja HQ takes registrations with league divisions and athlete IDs, sends athlete lists and run orders, and shows live results on your site, while NinjaWorks or Ninja Master run timing and scoring on competition day.
