What do I need to finish before my website goes live?

Getting started is your launch checklist. NinjaHQ builds your preview site first. This page shows what is left for you to check and decide.

Before you begin

• You must be an owner. The page shows in the menu under Launch until your site is live.

Steps

1. Open Getting started. At the top you see how many steps are done, for example "4 of 12 done", with a progress bar.
2. Work down the list. Each step has a button. Finished steps show a check mark and a Review button; open steps have a button that takes you to the right screen.
3. The steps you may see, depending on your gym:
   • Your logo and your home page: read your home page out loud and make sure it sounds like your gym.
   • Address, phone, hours and your contact email: filled in under Settings. See How do I change my gym's name, address, hours and contact details?.
   • Classes and the weekly schedule: check every class, day and time.
   • Your coaches and their photos, and Photos of your gym and your teams: six or more great photos make the site come alive.
   • Holiday decorations: pick the holidays your site dresses up for.
   • Bring your Facebook and Instagram posts: optional. You can skip it if you do not use them.
   • A few quick questions: see How do I answer NinjaHQ's questions?.
   • Who tests your site before launch: add the personal email of everyone who will try registering, booking or signing in as a customer, so they get the same emails customers will.
4. Under The last steps you see the final tasks: Accept the NinjaHQ Platform Agreement (see How do I accept the NinjaHQ Platform Agreement?), Connect and set up Stripe, Add your billing card (see How do I read my NinjaHQ bill and change the billing card?), and Go live on your own domain.
5. The Your domain card shows where your domain is registered and exactly what to change. See How do I go live on my own domain?.

What you'll see

The progress bar and the cheering line at the top update as you finish steps. After launch, the page shows "You did it!" and Getting started leaves the menu.

Troubleshooting

A step still shows as open after I did it. Some steps count things, such as "six or more photos" or "every coach has a photo". Open the step with Review and check what is missing.

I cannot see the page. Managers and staff do not have Getting started. Ask an owner.
