How do I accept the NinjaHQ Platform Agreement?
An owner opens Platform agreement, reads it, types their name and title, taps to sign, ticks both boxes and presses Accept. Required before going live.
The NinjaHQ Platform Agreement is the contract between your gym and NinjaHQ. It includes a data processing addendum for your customers' information. An owner accepts it once.
Before you begin
- You must be an owner and the person with authority to accept for your gym.
- Before your site goes live, take your time. You can accept any time before launch.
- After launch, if a new version is published, owners must accept it to keep using the back office. Other staff see a message asking an owner to sign in.
Steps
- Open Platform agreement. You can reach it from the Accept the NinjaHQ Platform Agreement step on Getting started or from the link near the bottom of Settings.
- Read the agreement. A contents list shows its two parts.
- Scroll to Accept for your gym. Type Your Full Name (first and last) and Your Title, for example Owner.
- Tap Tap to sign with your typed name. Your typed name becomes your electronic signature. If you change the name later, sign again. A guide bar at the bottom (Start, then the next field) walks you through each field.
- Tick both boxes: that you have the authority to accept for the gym, and that you have read the agreement and the gym agrees to it.
- Press Accept the agreement.
What you'll see
- The page shows Accepted with your name, title, email, date and version, plus an acceptance record with a Signed copy link.
- NinjaHQ records your name, title, email, the time, your IP address and device, and a fingerprint of the text.
- The Getting started step turns done, and launching is no longer blocked.
Troubleshooting
"Tap the signature box to sign with your typed name." You must tap the signature box after typing your name, and it must match the name field.
"Enter your first and last name." The name needs at least two words.
I cannot see the form. Only an owner can accept. If the page says the agreement is being finalised, nothing is needed from you yet.
Questions
Why is it needed?
It sets out what NinjaHQ provides, what your gym is responsible for, and how your customers' data is protected. Going live is blocked until an owner accepts it.
Do I get a copy?
Yes. A signed copy is emailed to you, to every owner and to NinjaHQ, and can be downloaded again from the Signed copy link in the acceptance record.
Can a manager accept it?
No. Only an owner can accept. Managers and helpers can read the page.
