What are website check-ups and what do they tell me?

After launch NinjaHQ checks your live site and emails owners. Website > Check-ups shows Google readiness, old links, phone speed, visits and payment checks.

Where: Website > Check-ups

Who can do this: Owners

Problems after a website moves show up slowly: an old link stops working, Google doesn't list a page, a payment doesn't record. Check-ups look for these so you don't have to.

Before you begin

  • Check-ups appear in the Website menu once your site is live.
  • Only owners can see them.

Steps

  1. Open Check-ups.
  2. The timeline at the top shows each check-up as All good, Needs a look or the date it is due.
  3. Read Google and your old links. Each line has a check mark or a "!" with what's wrong. It checks that Google may list your site, your pages name your own domain as the original, robots.txt and the sitemap are right, http moves to https, your busiest old links land on the right page, and search engines and AI assistants can read your pages.
  4. If it says busy missing pages, press Fix them on the Redirects page.

What you'll see

  • Real visitors' speed on phones: how fast three in four real phone visits were, against the weeks before launch. Small sites may not have enough visits yet, which is normal.
  • Visits and online sales: visits in your first 30 days and the last 30 days, how many came from Google, online registrations and orders, new memberships, and trial classes.
  • Daily payment check: every night your day's Stripe payments are compared with what your website recorded, both ways. You are emailed only if something doesn't match.
  • At one year, A year on: your old website and NinjaHQ compares speed, accessibility, security grade and advertising trackers with your old site, when a comparison was saved before launch.

Troubleshooting

"The first check-up runs a week after launch." Nothing has run yet. Check back.

Something says "Needs a look" and I don't understand it. NinjaHQ sees the same result and fixes what's on its side. The page and email say which ones are yours. Use Send feedback for questions.

I don't see Check-ups in the menu. It appears only after your website is launched.

Can I run a check-up myself?

No. Only NinjaHQ can run one by hand.
