How do I see where my gym shows up in Google Maps and AI answers?

On Marketing > Local search press Find searches, pick up to 25, then Check where I show up now to see map ranks around the gym and what AI assistants say.

Who can do this: Owners

Local search shows what families near you type into Google, where you appear in Google Maps from spots around the gym, and whether AI assistants recommend you.

Before you begin

Only owners change this page. Managers cannot open it.
Set the gym's address and map pin in Settings first, so searches start from around the gym.
If the page says NinjaHQ is finishing the connection to the search data provider, it fills in once ready.

Steps

Open Local search and press Find searches. NinjaHQ lists searches families type, with monthly volume for your state.
Open Choose the searches. Tick up to 25, or press Pick the top 25 for me. You can type your own under Add Your Own (One per Line).
Choose Map Grid and Spots Apart (Miles). The default of 5 × 5 spots covers most families' driving distance.
Review The Questions (One per Line) that are asked of ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude. Each shows which facts your website still needs to state.
Keep Check every month by itself ticked, and press Save.
Press Check where I show up now. Results arrive within a few minutes.

What you'll see

Under Where you show up: a map of the spots, your average Google Maps rank for each search, how many spots put you in the top 3, your regular Google rank and whether Google's AI Overview cites you. Under In AI answers you see whether each assistant names you or links your site, and Who shows up above you most.

Ready for AI answers lists the facts assistants need (address, hours, prices, ages and so on) and what is missing. What moves you up: a complete Google Business Profile, recent reviews, and a page for each thing you offer.

"One check a day". Today's results are already below.

A search shows "no page yet". Families searching that land elsewhere on your site. Add a page for it.

Results still coming in. The page shows how many are left. Refresh in a few minutes.

Questions

How often does it check?

It can check once a day when you press the button, and it checks by itself every month if "Check every month by itself" is ticked.

What does the map grid mean?

Google shows each parent different results depending on where they are. NinjaHQ searches from a grid of spots around your gym and shows your Google Maps rank from each one. Green is the top 3.

Do the AI questions talk to the AI for me?

They ask ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude parent-style questions and show whether the answer names you and links your website. You improve those answers by clearly stating the facts on your website and earning reviews.
