How do party photos and Google review requests work?

Reviews and party photos work together. After a party, the host uploads photos. The family gets a private page to download and share them, a thank-you, and a friendly ask for a Google review.

Before you begin

• Connect your Google Business Profile so the review link is ready. Or paste your review link in the settings below until Google is connected.
• Every paid party order gets an entry automatically. For a party not booked online, add it by hand (below).

Steps

Upload photos and schedule the ask

1. Open Reviews. Under Parties, find the party and press Open.
2. Choose The Party's Coach, and the Their Back-Office Account (Gets the Photo Reminder), then press Save. The coach's note appears in the family's email. Leave the note empty to use the default.
3. Under Add Photos pick many at once (up to 60) and press Upload. Photos are made smaller, evened out and stripped of camera and location data.
4. Press Schedule the review request. It is sent at the best time for families to read email. Use Don't send any more to stop. Owners can use Delete photos.

If you do nothing, the ask goes out by itself after the time set below.

Add a party that was not booked online

Open A party that wasn't booked online, enter Parent's Email, Birthday Child, Party Date and Ends At, then press Add the party.

Change the settings (owners)

1. Tick or untick Ask families for a Google review after a party.
2. Set Send by Itself After (12, 24, 48 or 72 hours), Ask at Most and Reminder After.
3. Tick Remind the owners and the party's host to upload photos after each party if you want the reminder.
4. Tick Show the newest Google reviews on the home and parties pages to show them on your website.
5. Press Save.

What you'll see

The Parties table shows each party's coach, photo count and the state of the review request. Above it you see how many families were asked, how many opened their page and tapped the review link.

Troubleshooting

"No review link yet". Connect Google or paste your review link under Your Google Review Link (Until Google Is Connected).

Photo reminders arrive but the party is not listed. The list shows parties from the last 45 days and the next 2 weeks.
