How do I keep track of homeschool groups near my gym?
Open Marketing > Homeschool groups, press Add a group, fill in the group's details and where your outreach stands. It lists organizations only, never families.
A simple list of homeschool co-ops and groups near you, and where your outreach to each one stands.
Before you begin
- Any staff member can add and edit groups. Only owners can remove one.
Steps
- Open Homeschool groups. Open How to reach homeschool families (what works) for ideas.
- Under Add a group, fill in:
- Group Name and Kind (Co-op, Classical Conversations community, Support group, Hybrid or university-model school, Library or church program, Online group or Other)
- Where It Meets, When and Area It Serves
- Status: Not contacted, Contacted, Talking, Partner or Not interested
- Website, Public Contact Form and Where We Found It (a link to a listing)
- Note: what you sent and the next step
- Press Add the group.
To change one, press Edit in its row, change it and press Save. Use the status links above the table to see just one stage. Owners can press Remove from the list.
What you'll see
The table shows each group with its kind, area, meeting place, links, status and note, and when it was last updated. The list is not shown to the public.
Troubleshooting
"Leave out email addresses and phone numbers". Remove them from the fields. Put the group's public contact form in Public Contact Form.
"That group is on the list already". Group names must be different. Edit the existing row.
Link check fails. Use a full web link. Email and phone links are refused.
Questions
Why can't I type an email address or phone number?
This list holds organizations only. Email addresses and phone numbers are refused. Link the group's public contact form instead.
Why not import a list of homeschool families?
Bought lists are not consent. Families join your news list themselves with the "Email me news" box.
How many groups can I add?
Up to 150.
