How do I sign the waiver?

Open Sign the waiver on your gym's website, choose who is taking part, tap Start and Next through each step, then press Finish and sign. It takes minutes.

Where: Your gym's website > Sign the waiver

Who can do this: Families and members

Every athlete needs a signed waiver before they take part. You sign it once online, from any phone or computer, and the gym keeps it on file.

Before you begin

  • You must be 18 or older to sign. A parent or legal guardian signs for children.
  • Have your email, mobile phone and an emergency contact ready. You enter ages for children, not birth dates.
  • Some gyms use a waiver on another website. In that case the Sign the waiver link takes you there.

Steps

  1. On your gym's website choose Sign the waiver (the footer or the address followed by /waiver).
  2. Read the agreement. The page asks you to read the whole thing carefully before signing. Pick your language at the top if more than one is offered.
  3. Under Who Is Taking Part?, choose who is taking part. Choosing confirms you are old enough to sign.
  4. In About You, fill in your first and last name, Email, Mobile Phone and your relationship to the children if any.
  5. Add each child under Children Taking Part: first name, last name and Child's Age. Use Add a child for more.
  6. Fill in the Emergency Contact: someone we can call who isn't taking part today.
  7. Answer the questions shown. The optional ones, such as school, grade and shirt size for children, and whether we may share photos and videos, can be skipped.
  8. Tap Start, then Next, to be taken to each remaining item. At each section, tap the box to put your initials. The first time, you choose the initials to use and every later section takes one tap.
  9. For the signature, type your full name and tap the signature box to adopt it as your signature. Or choose Draw my signature instead and draw it with your finger or mouse.
  10. When the bar says all done, press Finish and sign.

What you'll see

The page says "You're all set!" and that your waiver is signed and on file. A copy is emailed to you. Choose View your signed waiver to see it, or Sign for someone else to do another one. If the gym asks you to verify your email address, open the email and confirm it to finish.

Troubleshooting

It tells me to confirm I'm 18 or older. Choose who is taking part. A parent or guardian must sign for anyone younger.

I can't find my waiver later. Sign in to My account and look under Waivers, using the same email you signed with.

The bar says "N to go". That is the number of required items still empty. Press Next to jump to the next one.

Questions

Do I need to sign again every visit?

No. A waiver lasts one year. After that you renew it. See How do I renew my waiver?

Can I sign for my child?

Yes. A parent or legal guardian signs. Children take part together with the adult who signs, so the waiver covers you both.

Will I get a copy?

Yes. A copy is emailed to the address you enter, and you can open it from My account.
