How do I register for a competition?

Open the competition and press Register. Fill in the athlete, your contact details and waiver, add a shirt if offered, and pay by card.

Registering takes a few minutes. You choose the athlete and division, confirm contact details, check the waiver and pay.

Before you begin

Have the athlete's full name and your email and mobile phone ready.
A signed gym waiver is needed. See How do I sign the waiver?. The form checks for one when you continue.
Some competitions also need a World Ninja League waiver once per season, with the athlete's six-digit ID.

Steps

On your gym's website open Competitions and choose the event. Press Register while registration is open.
If you registered before, press Sign in, enter your email, tick the box that says you are 18 or older or the athlete's parent or guardian, press Email me a code, type the 6-digit code and press Sign in. Your athlete's details are filled in.
In Athlete, fill in Athlete's Full Name, Division and Competes As. If asked, type the WNL Athlete ID.
Fill in Home Gym. Type the gym's name or city and pick it from the list. If it is not listed, choose Other, or choose No home gym.
Optionally add a ninja name, Instagram handle and picture, and tick the box if you want them shown in Who's Coming.
In Parent and contact, fill in Parent or Guardian (for Athletes Under 18), Email and Mobile Phone.
In Waivers, confirm your waivers. If you have none, follow the link to sign it. Tick the boxes under Before You Register if there are any.
If your gym sells gear, you may see Add and the item, for example a shirt, with a saving. It is optional. Choose a size under the option and a quantity. You pick it up at check-in.
Use the Have a discount or gift card code? box if you have a code.
Press the button to pay. You pay by card on Stripe's secure page.

What you'll see

You get a confirmation email right away. The competition appears in My account under Your competitions with a countdown to the next one. The run order is posted on the competition page, and your gym may email it to you.

Troubleshooting

The waiver check fails. Sign the waiver with the same email, then continue.

Payment was canceled. Nothing was charged. The page says so, and what you typed is kept so you can try again.

Questions

Do I need to sign in to register?

No. But if you registered before, signing in with a code fills in your athlete's details, including the ninja name.

How do I register a second athlete?

Fill in the registration again for each athlete. If you registered before, tap an athlete's name near the top of the form to fill in their details.

When do I get the run order?

A couple of days before the competition, once the league randomizes it. Your gym posts it on the competition page and may email it to athletes.
