How do I connect Printful so shop orders print and ship by themselves?

If you print products with Printful, NinjaHQ can send each paid shop order to Printful. Printful prints and ships it, and your customers get a tracking email when it ships.

Before you begin

• You need a Printful account with your products in a store.
• The Printful card appears in Connections only when your shop is on.
• Owners connect it. Treat the token like a password: do not email or text it.

Steps

1. Sign in at developers.printful.com with your Printful account.
2. Choose Create token and name it NinjaHQ.
3. For access, choose A single store and pick the store with your shop products.
4. Tick View and manage orders, View store products and View and manage store webhooks. Pick the longest expiry date and create it.
5. Copy the token (it is shown once). In NinjaHQ open Connections, paste the token into the Printful card and press Save. It connects at once.
6. Press Match products to link your shop products to Printful's. Match again after you re-import products or add new ones in Printful.

What you'll see

Paid shop orders for matched products are sent to Printful with the customer's shipping address. On Orders the card shows the Printful status. When Printful ships, the tracking number comes back automatically and the customer is emailed. Orders placed before you switched to live mode are not sent on their own; the card offers Send to Printful as a draft (test order).

If an order was not sent or failed, the card shows Send to Printful.

Troubleshooting

Some products do not match. The match report lists shop products with no Printful match and Printful products with no shop match. Matching uses SKU, then product name plus color and size.

Your token expires. Make a new one in Printful and save it in Connections before the old one runs out.

Disconnecting. Removing the Printful connection also stops Printful's webhook.
