How do I reply to a Google review?
Open Marketing > Google Business Profile, scroll to Reviews, type under the review and press Post reply. Owners can also hide a review on the website.
Families read your replies, and Google notices them. Reply to every review, good or bad.
Before you begin
- Connect your Google Business Profile first.
- Never offer anything in return for a review.
Steps
- Open Google Business Profile and scroll to Reviews.
- Press Read reviews now if you want the newest ones.
- Find the review. It shows the reviewer's name, stars, date and comment.
- Type in Your Reply. A suggestion such as "Thank you, Name! ..." is shown as a hint.
- Press Post reply. Your reply appears on Google.
Hide a review on your website (owners)
- Press Hide on website under the review.
- Read the warning and confirm with Hide it.
Use Show on website to bring it back.
What you'll see
The Reviews card shows your average and total count. Replied reviews show the date posted and the button reads Update reply. Reviews that are not hidden can show on your home and parties pages when that setting is on in Reviews.
Troubleshooting

Questions
Can I hide a bad review on my website?
Only if it is about something else, shares someone's private details, or is abusive. Hiding reviews because they are negative is against the law. A hidden review stays on Google.
Can I change a reply?
Yes. Edit the text and press Update reply. Clearing it removes the reply.
