How do I join a membership online?

Joining online takes a couple of minutes. You choose a plan, tell the gym who it is for, and pay by card.

Before you begin

• Know who the membership is for. Some plans cover more than one person.
• Have your email and mobile phone ready.
• Not every gym sells memberships online. If the page says online sign-up is being set up, call the gym.

Steps

1. On your gym's website open Memberships, or the address followed by /memberships.
2. Read How it works and the plan cards. Press Join on the plan you want.
3. Under Who is the membership for?, enter the member's full name. For plans with several people, add everyone who will train.
4. Under Your details, enter Your Full Name, Email and Mobile Phone. This is the adult who pays, and receipts go to this email.
5. Open Membership terms if you want to read them, including how to cancel.
6. Tick the agreement box to confirm you agree to the terms.
7. Press Continue to payment and enter your card on Stripe's secure page.
8. When you are back at the gym's page, it says Welcome. Press Sign the waiver if everyone taking part has not yet signed one.

What you'll see

A receipt and confirmation by email. The membership appears under Memberships in My account, with its price and status. See How do I cancel my membership or update my card?. Each athlete still needs a signed waiver: How do I sign the waiver?.

If the gym started the membership for you, you may get a link with a Review and pay button.

Troubleshooting

Payment was canceled. Nothing was charged and no membership was started. You can try again from the join page.

I want a different plan. Contact the gym. They can change or move a membership.

I never got the confirmation. Check your spam folder and look in My account.
