How do I cancel my membership or update my card?

Memberships renew automatically. You can cancel or change the card on file yourself from My account at any time.

Before you begin

• Sign in with the email you joined with. See How do I sign in to My account?.
• Some gyms handle cancellations in person or by email. If so, the cancel button sends them your request.

Steps

To update your card or see payments

1. In My account, scroll to Memberships.
2. Press Update card & see payments next to the membership. This button shows for memberships paid by card online.
3. On the secure billing page, change your card or look at your payments, then return to the gym's site.

To cancel

1. In My account, under Memberships, press Cancel membership.
2. Read the box. It says it will stop all future payments, keep the membership active until the end of the period you paid for (the date is shown), and email you a confirmation.
3. If you want, tell the gym why in Why Are You Canceling? (optional).
4. Press Cancel my membership, or Keep it to go back. (If your gym handles cancellations itself, the button reads Send my request.)

To undo a cancellation

1. Back under Memberships, press Keep my membership.

What you'll see

My account shows "Membership canceled. It stays active until the end of the period you have paid for, and a confirmation email is on its way." The status line explains when it ends. After you press Keep my membership, it says "Your membership continues." If your gym handles it by hand, it shows "Request sent. The gym will confirm your cancellation by email."

Troubleshooting

I do not see Update card & see payments. The membership may be billed at the gym instead of by card online. Ask the front desk.

A payment failed. The status shows it. Update the card with the button above.
