How does the "Questions parents ask" page on my website get its answers?

Your website can have a Questions parents ask page at /faq. It also adds short question sections to your parties, classes, pricing and special events pages.

Before you begin

• Only owners can run the optimizer.
• Keep your hours, prices, party details and program ages up to date. Answers use those facts.

Steps

1. Open Local search in the Marketing menu and find Optimize my website for these searches.
2. Press Optimize my website now (or Optimize again now). It reads what parents search on Google, which takes about 30 seconds.
3. Leave Keep it optimized: redo it after every monthly check ticked if you want it refreshed automatically.
4. Open Questions. Questions that only you can answer are listed under the topic "Questions parents ask (FAQ)". Type your answer in Your Answer and press Save answer.
5. Your answer joins the FAQ page in your own words.

What you'll see

• The Local search card shows how many pages were optimized, how many FAQ answers there are, and a link to See the FAQ page.
• The page has a search box and topic buttons, and the answers are also sent to Google as FAQ data.
• Answers built from hours, prices, parties, ages and the address update themselves when you change those in Settings.
• Every change is in History.

Troubleshooting

The card says there are no FAQ answers. Run the optimizer once.

An answer is wrong. The facts come from your settings. Fix them in Settings, and the answer follows. If it came from a question you answered, answer it again.
