How do I show a closure or a one-day schedule change on my website?
On Programs > Schedule, use Closures and one-day changes: add the day and a note, then Save. It shows under the schedule and drops off after the day.
Use this when the gym is closed for a holiday or competition, or when one day runs differently, such as open gym 4 to 6 PM.
Before you begin
Owners and managers can edit closures. Closures and changes are a second form on the same page as the weekly schedule, with its own save button.
Steps
- Open Schedule and scroll to Closures and one-day changes.
- For a closure, under Closed, press + Add a closure. Choose the First Day Closed. If it lasts more than a day, choose Last Day (If More Than One). Add a Note, for example "Closed for a competition".
- For a different day, under Different that day, press + Add a change. Choose the Day and type What's Different, for example "Open gym 4–6 PM".
- Under How the schedule looks you can choose the Layout on Computers: a time grid, or one column per day (best when many classes share an hour). Line Under the Schedule adds a note such as "Arrive 10 minutes early."
- Press Save closures and changes. Use ✕ to remove a row first.
What you'll see
- The notes show under the weekly schedule at your Schedule page, and on the home page during the two weeks before.
- After you add entries, a box called Tell the families affected lists them. Press Email the families affected beside one to write a notice on the Emails page to current members and everyone booked that day (classes, trials, camps, parties). Nothing is sent until you send it.
Troubleshooting
"Choose the first day for every closure." A row has a note but no date.
"A closure's last day must be on or after its first day." Fix the dates.
"Say what is different on each changed day." A change row needs its note.
More than 60 entries. Remove ones you no longer need.
Questions
Do old closures need to be deleted?
No. Days that have passed drop off by themselves.
Does this email anyone?
No. Saving only changes the website. After saving, use Email the families affected to write a notice.
Where do visitors see it?
Under the weekly schedule on your Schedule page, and on the home page during the two weeks before the day.
