How do I get shirts ready for athletes to pick up?

Open the competition's Shirt Pickup card for totals by size, then print the pickup list and bag labels. Hand shirts out at check-in.

Where: Programs > Competitions > (a competition) > Shirts

Who can do this: Owners, Managers, Front desk staff

Families can add shirts and other gear when they register. A few days before the competition, use this list to pull exactly what you need and bag one set per athlete, so each athlete's bag is waiting at check-in.

Before you begin

  • You need at least one shirt or other item ordered with a registration.
  • Front desk staff can open the list, print it and check athletes in.

Steps

  1. Open Competitions, press the competition, and press Shirts in the jump menu.
  2. The Shirt Pickup card shows the total ordered, how many athletes ordered, how many are handed out and how many are still to hand out, with a table of each item and size.
  3. Press Pickup list by athlete to open the printable list. The Pull List at the top shows each item and size with its total, how many are handed out, and a box to tick when you have pulled them. Below it, By Athlete shows each athlete, their division, their shirts, phone and whether they are checked in.
  4. Use By athlete or By division to sort. Press Print when ready.
  5. Press Bag labels to switch to one label for each athlete with their name, division, what time they run (when the run order is in), their parent's name and a checkbox for each item. Print, cut apart and tape each to the bag.
  6. Press Download the list (CSV) (or ⤓ CSV on the list page) for a spreadsheet.

What you'll see

On competition day the shirts are handed out from the check-in page: when an athlete with a shirt is checked in, a prompt reminds you to hand it over, and the shirt is marked handed over with who did it and when. The first box in the By Athlete list gets a ✓ once everything for that athlete has been handed out.

The page shows the product picture (the color ordered, when the shirt has colors) so nobody pulls the wrong one. Youth sizes are listed before adult sizes, smallest to largest.

Troubleshooting

A shirt shows "Bought separately". It was ordered with the competition but is not linked to an athlete's registration.

The list says no one has ordered a shirt. Shirts families add when they register show up here. If gear was sold at the door, use Take a payment.

Questions

Why is there no Shirt Pickup card on my competition?

It only appears when someone ordered a shirt or other gear along with their registration.

Can I print labels for the bags?

Yes. Choose Bag labels, then Print. You get one label per athlete to cut out and tape on their bag.

Where do shirts bought later, in the shop, show up?

Those are on your Orders page. This list is for gear added at registration.
