How do I turn my Facebook and Instagram posts into website updates?

In Social inbox open Posts to your website and press the button on a post, like Add the closure. Owners can let closures and photos be added by themselves.

Where: Marketing > Social inbox

Who can do this: Owners, Managers, Front desk staff

When you post a closure, a special event, photos or a video on Facebook or Instagram, NinjaHQ reads it and offers to put the same thing on your website with one tap.

Before you begin

Steps

  1. Open Social inbox and choose the Posts to your website tab. A number shows how many new posts are waiting.
  2. Each new post shows what it found. Press the button for the one you want:
    • Add the closure puts a closure in your website schedule.
    • Add the change adds a schedule change.
    • Add to Special events creates an event you can check first. Edit the title, date, time, ages, price and other fields, then press it.
    • Add the photo to your website (or, for several, Add 3 photos to your website with the real number) adds the pictures to your Photos page.
    • Add the video to your Photos page adds a video.
  3. If you do not want a post on the website, press Skip this post (or OK when nothing was found).
  4. Press Check for new posts to look for new ones now.

Let it happen by itself

Owners can open Let it happen by itself:

  • Tick the first box to add closures to the schedule when you post that you are closed on a date.
  • Tick the second box to add the photos you post to the Photos page.
  • Press Save.

Special events always wait for your tap. Everything done automatically is listed under Done and in History.

What you'll see

Done posts move to the Done chip. A post's first picture becomes the event's flyer. Posts older than 30 days when you first connect are not offered.

Troubleshooting

The page says to connect first. Connect Facebook and Instagram on the Comments tab.

The date was read wrongly. Edit it in the form before adding, or skip the post and add the event by hand in Special events.

Questions

Does a post with a wrong date reach families?

Special events always wait for your tap, so a wrong date or price never goes out by itself.

How long until a post shows up?

Within about 15 minutes of going up, or press Check for new posts.

Can videos be added?

Yes, as click-to-play clips on your Photos page, if your gym's media storage allows videos of up to 50 MB.
