How do I send my athlete list to WNL and get the run order back?

For competitions run under a league such as WNL, the league sets the run order. This card sends them your paid athletes and tracks every step, so you do not have to chase emails. The heading shows the league's name, like "Send to WNL".

Before you begin

• Only owners can send, resend, reopen or stop. Others can look at the progress and see the page the league sees.
• At least one athlete must have paid. Until then the send button is turned off.

Steps

Option A: send a private link

1. Open Competitions, press the competition, and press Send to WNL in the jump menu.
2. Press See the page WNL will get if you want to preview it first. Nothing is recorded when you preview.
3. Type the league's email in WNL's Email. Add a Note to WNL (optional) if you like.
4. Press Send the athlete list to WNL.
5. The league opens the link, downloads the list, uploads the run order with each athlete's wave and start time, and presses Finalize. You are told the moment they do (email, a phone alert if you turned on alerts, and a count on the Events menu).
6. When it says finalized, a box appears under Send the run order to NinjaWorks. Type their email, add an optional note and press Send the run order to NinjaWorks. They get the run order as a CSV and a private page to read it.

Option B: send the file yourself

1. Press Download the WNL athlete file (CSV) in the WNL athlete file card. It is in WNL's layout: first name, last name, WNL athlete ID and division.
2. Press Email WNL. Your email app opens with the subject and a note filled in. Attach the file and send.

What you'll see

A list of steps with times: sent, delivered to their inbox, opened, looked at the athlete list, downloaded the list, uploaded the run order, finalized, and sent to NinjaWorks. Everything that happened keeps a full log. If the league has not opened the link in 2 days you see a reminder to send it again or call them.

Buttons under the steps:

• Send the link again sends a new link; the old one stops working.
• Reopen for changes (after finalized) lets the league upload a new version.
• Stop the link ends the page immediately. Your run order is kept.

When the run order is final you can press Post it on the website to show families their wave and time (see post the run order).

Troubleshooting

"The email bounced". The address was not accepted. Check it and send again.

The card says "Only owners can send it". Ask an owner of the gym to press the button.

An athlete is missing from the list. Only paid athletes are included. Check the roster in Competitions.
